Independent public-information project

OC Health Inspector is an independent informational media project. We are not affiliated with the Orange County Health Care Agency, Orange County government, or any other government entity. We do not inspect, certify, rate, or grade restaurants.

Sources, dates, and follow-up

We aim to identify inspection dates, describe documented findings, and refer to original agency records where available. Findings reflect conditions at the time of inspection and do not necessarily describe a restaurant's present condition. Subsequent reinspections and reopening information can materially change the context.

AI-generated videos and illustrative imagery

Our videos use artificial intelligence for narration and visual presentation. AI does not inspect premises or independently verify conditions. Illustrations and recreated scenes must not be interpreted as authentic footage of a named restaurant or evidence of a specific violation. The dated source record—not generated imagery—is the basis for the factual report.

Corrections and updates

We welcome factual corrections from restaurant operators, viewers, and public agencies. Email contact@ochealthinspector.com with the video or page link, the specific statement at issue, and supporting documentation if available. We review requests and may correct, clarify, or update content when warranted. We cannot guarantee a particular outcome or response time.

Editorial independence and supporter funding

Voluntary Patreon support helps sustain this work. Membership cannot purchase favorable coverage, influence which restaurants are featured, change public-record findings, or confer editorial approval. Supporter recognition is optional and subject to eligibility.
